Renning, Lewis & Lacy, S.C. is a dynamic law firm with practices focused on management-side labor and employment and a wide-range of school law. At this time, we have 15 attorneys and 7 support staff employees in offices in Green Bay, Oshkosh, Madison, and Milwaukee.  We are motivated to grow with purpose and intention.   Our Firm Administrator would support and manage these efforts.  

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented candidate with a strong work ethic and a passion for taking on a diverse range of responsibilities which include:

  • Administer critical aspects of the day-to-day operations of the firm;
  • Manage operational systems, processes, policies, and facilities;
  • Identify opportunities for growth;
  • Detect deficiencies in policies, practices, systems, and operations;
  • Supervise records storage and management;
  • Oversee office facilities, including space planning, vendor relationships and maintenance;
  • Initiate and direct employee orientation, training, and professional development opportunities;
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety rules and regulations;
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities and decision-making to ensure alignment with firm goals;
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors for finance/accounting, insurance and other benefits, technology, facilities, marketing, and events; and
  • Collaborate with our shareholders, attorneys and other staff for success in administrative functions, human resources, networking, marketing, growth, and succession and strategic planning. 

As a small firm we are looking for an administrator to work closely with us in thinking strategically about our business and helping us identify areas of growth, efficiencies and business practices that help us serve our clients.  To this end, the successful candidate will have a solid understanding of financial systems, be able to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities, and be willing to learn.  We would prefer, but not require, a minimum of 4-7 years of experience managing an office or small business.  Law firm experience is highly desirable, but not a requirement.  We also prefer, but do not require, a bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting, business administration, office management, operations management, or human resources.

Ideally, our Firm Administrator would work primarily in our Green Bay office and visit other offices regularly. For the right candidate, we would consider a primary office assignment in Madison or Oshkosh.
