Attorney Jenna E. Rousseau was recently elected by the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin School Attorneys Association to serve as President-elect.

Attorney Jenna Rousseau presented a joint program at the WSAA/WASB Conference on regarding the topic: What Can You Do with District Property? Buy, Sell, Build: Referendums and Real Estate Transactions.

Attorney Chad Wade participated in a panel discussion for the WASDA/WCASS Academy for Superintendents titled “Everything You Wanted to Know About Special Education and Student Services But Were Afraid to Ask.”

Attorney Shana Lewis was a guest speaker at Dr. Barb Sramek’s class in the K12 Leadership MS Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The firm presented a school law update at the 2023 Wisconsin State Education Convention at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee titled, “What Happens Behind Closed Doors? Complying with the Open Meetings Law During Closed Sessions” and will provide an in-depth look into the legal requirements for closed sessions.
