Renning, Lewis & Lacy is proud to announce that two of our attorneys have been recognized as among the best in the nation in certain specialties.  Shana Lewis is recognized by her peers for professional excellence in the publication Best Lawyers in America in the areas of Education Law, Employment Law – Management, Labor Law – Management, and Litigation – Labor and Employment. Ms. Lewis is also recognized as a 2023 “Lawyer of the Year” for work in Labor Law – Management in Green Bay. Geoff Lacy is likewise recognized by his peers for professional excellence in the publication Best Lawyers in America in the areas of Employment Law – Management, Immigration Law, and Labor Law – Management.

We are pleased to announce that Attorney Lindsey Minser has joined the law firm of Renning, Lewis & Lacy, s.c., working in the firm’s Madison office. She will represent both public and private sector clients in the areas of school and higher education law as well as labor and employment law.  She will also provide support for the firm’s other practice areas.

Attorney Minser graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2012.  She is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and is on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin School Attorneys Association and is a member of the Council of School Attorneys.

Attorneys Shana Lewis and Laura Pedersen presented to the 2022 WASPA Academy for New HR Administrators, Support Staff, and Aspiring HR Directors on personnel files and records retention.

Attorney Tony Renning presented on Complex Medical Situations and Wage and Hour Issues in a Post-Covid/Remote Working Environment at the Legal Seminar of the Wisconsin Association of School Personnel Administrators.

Starting in July 2022, Attorneys Shana Lewis and Chad Wade will teach the School District Law course for Edgewood College’s Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership.
