Bennett’s close family ties to public education are what ultimately brought him to Renning, Lewis, & Lacy s.c.
After serving as the firm’s law clerk for over a year, Bennett joined the firm immediately after graduating from UW Madison Law School in 2024. During law school, Bennett prioritized coursework focused on the public sector including public education law, administrative and regulatory law, land use controls, and four semesters in the Government and Legislative Clinic.
Prior to law school Bennett worked in La Crosse in various capacities including as a tutor, local affairs director for his undergraduate institution, and campaign employee for various elected officials.
