Andrea regularly advises employers on family and medical leave, disability accommodation, discrimination and harassment concerns, collective bargaining, and policy development. She also provides guidance on public records, open meetings, and other compliance issues facing public-sector entities.
Andrea has extensive experience handling complex staff and student investigations and supporting administrators and boards with personnel matters, grievances, and disciplinary hearings.
Before joining the firm, Andrea was the Chief Human Resources Officer at the Hudson School District for the past 12 years and was a partner at a law firm in Eau Claire, specializing in labor and employment and school law from 2005-2013. Both during her time in Hudson as well as the firm, she has focused on supporting employers in a variety of ways.
